During your holidays in Maremma you can visit Mount Amiata, a destination for tourists looking for outdoor excursions. With a height of 1,738 meters, Mount Amiata is the highest peak of the whole southern Tuscany. Arcidosso is under construction a visitor center in a museum, where visitors can admire and understand the natural history of the entire complex amiatino. The wildlife park is open daily, except Mondays, from dawn to dusk. Visits are allowed only on foot. The turita can leave their vehicles in the designated parking equipped with water, electricity, toilets and sump for campers and caravans.
