Environment and Nature in Maremma, the Nature Park
The tourist who has chosen as a destination for their holidays to visit the Maremma Natural Park of Maremma, located in the southern part of Tuscany, more precisely in the province of Grosseto . Extends from a Mare Principina until Talamone promontory. Most of the park consists of the Mountains dell'Uccellina: a mountain range parallel to the coast, characterized by dense vegetation. The northern part of the Natural Park consists of wetlands, formed from the mouth of the river Ombrone. The party instead coastal stretches for 20 km in a succession of beaches departing from Bocca d'Ombrone Cala di Forno.
The territory consists predominantly of cultivated land, areas used for grazing and large rocky areas, pine forests and endless sand dunes.
One of the most evocative of the Tuscan Maremma, the heart of the park consists of numerous hills that rise at irregular intervals from the plain, consisting of a ground campaign, reefs, coastal marshes, forests, pristine beaches and the beautiful shaded pine forests.
A real microcosm untouched, away from bars, hotels and marinas. The ideal place for the occasional hiker, or the botanist who studied the birds: the area is indeed a destination for many birds stop during their migrations between Europe and North Africa.

All vehicles must park in the vicinity of the reserve, in the main square of Alberese. You can reach the square with the bus number 15, 16 and 17 which leave every hour from the station of Grosseto. While Alberese to reach by train, there is only one train that arrives daily at 4 km from the village.
